
Uptown Waterloo and its amenities include nearby accommodations, shopping, restaurants, parks and greenspaces. Located in the Uptown core of Waterloo lies Waterloo's premier park boasting 111 acres of prime parkland with facilities for active and passive recreation. Please view the Waterloo Park map for picnic areas, sports fields and other amenities locations. You will find additional Waterloo Park information in the tabs on the left. This "Jewel of the City" has something to offer for everyone; it's sensitive mix of active, passive, natural and historical features provides a myriad of opportunities for it's visitors to explore. Historic landmarks such as Waterloo's first school house, the original farm house, a replica structure of Abraham Erb's Grist Mill, the Eby Farm and our award winning Victorian Gardens are all maintained to preserve and educate for years to come about our local heritage.
The park is closed between the hours of 11pm - 5am as stated in the Parks by-law.

Events - Waterloo Park is the location for many summer concerts, fundraising events, community festivals, various walk-a-thons, and Music & Movies in the Park. During the Christmas Season Waterloo Park hosts Wonders of Winter - a light spectacular.
