RIM Park, Waterloo, ON

RIM Park and Manulife Financial Sportsplex is the City of Waterloo's premier recreation and park complex. Visited by about one-million people a year, this 500-acre facility, located in the city’s northeast side, features outdoor sports fields, a multi-purpose recreation building, trails, parkland, a golf course, heritage elements, public art and much more. As well, it provides one of the longest stretches of public access to the Grand River shoreline.

Many exciting events are held at RIM Park each year, drawing large crowds to the world-class venue. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Job fairs
  • Art sales and shows
  • Company banquets, seminars, conferences and holiday parties

Public parking is available for RIM Park users in the lot by the main entrance to the Sportsplex, off University Avenue East. Additional parking is provided near the ball diamonds. Download a PDF map. Parking is prohibited along Woolwich Street or on the grass at RIM Park. Vehicles that do so may be ticketed. Carpooling is encouraged during special events as parking is limited.
