Waterloo Park, located in the heart of the Uptown core, is a multi-functional park that can meet all your informal and formal sporting needs. Multi-use fields can be used to hold practices or regular games for sports such as baseball, soccer, rugby, football, lacrosse and even special events like walk-a-thons, bike-a-thons, and fundraising events.  These sports fields can be rented in conjunction to picnic areas to make your tournament a complete day in the park.

Amenities
With an abundance of space and facilities Waterloo Park hosts grounds for:
2 - 300 x 200 Soccer/Rugby pitches
2 - Unlit Ball diamonds
2 - Lit Ball Diamonds
1 - Cricket Pitch

Baseball
The two lit ball diamonds on the West side see a lot of tournament play, while the two unlit diamonds on the East side are great for minor sports and family or company bookings. Some examples of leagues playing softball at the park are Waterloo Minor Baseball, Waterloo Co-Ed Slo-Pitch and Wilfred Laurier Major Summer League.

Cricket
A growing population of this age-old sport is on the rise in Waterloo. This "gentleman's game” provides historic value within the community with a chance to educate. Cricket is played on the oval on the East side of the Park and is often played on the weekend from June-August.
