Volunteer Services, Waterloo, ON

Volunteer Services provides a central coordinating or referral service for individuals interested in volunteering within the Corporation of The City of Waterloo or with volunteer groups linked directly to the City. We help citizens share and develop their talents, or to become more engaged in their community, through civic involvement as a volunteer.

Are you looking to use your skills and interests, or to develop new ones, while providing valued service to the community?

Contact us if you could volunteer in such areas as:

  • Assisting in a program or service for older adults
  • Volunteer driving or shopping for/with local seniors
  • Special event planning
  • Occasional special event helping

Engaged Volunteers Create a Vibrant Waterloo!

The Waterloo Code for Volunteer Involvement was developed by the Volunteer Services Advisory Committee, and approved by Council on October 4, 2004. The policy provides core values, guiding principles and standards for the involvement of City of Waterloo volunteers.  More information about the Volunteer Services Advisory Committee and the Waterloo Code for Volunteer Involvement can be read in this brochure.
