The Fire Prevention Division of Waterloo Fire Rescue and Waterloo Regional Police Service detectives have been called in to conduct a comprehensive investigation into a fire that occurred at the new Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse store currently under construction at Ira Needles Boulevard and University Avenue West, Waterloo.

Moses Springer pool open for the summer!
The Swimplex pool area at the WMRC is set to close as of June 28 while repairs to the hydraulic floor, an overhaul of the mechanical system and super-structure painting get underway. That means the Moses Springer outdoor pool will be the place to be this summer!
