During the manufacturing process, a liquid gob of glass falls freely onto a blank mould where it undergoes the first step in becoming a Crown Royal bottle. The resulting half-shaped bottle, called a parison, is transferred into a blow mould where it is transformed into the finished bottle.

During the manufacturing process, polypropylene resin pellets, derived from natural gas or oil, are melted into a semi-liquid form and injected into a mould under high pressure to form Crown Royal bottle caps. A large, multi-cavity injection mould, could produce over 10,000 caps per hour.
