Parking payment as of January 11
Due to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cities of Kitchener and Waterloo have been lenient on parking ticket payments, pausing normal processes, to avoid residents incurring late fees. This will continue throughout the holiday season.
Effective January 11, 2021 the parking process will resume and approved timelines will automatically be applied to any new or outstanding parking tickets which may result in additional fees being incurred. Residents who have received a parking ticket during this period and have not taken action to resolve it, are encouraged to either pay the ticket or contact the bylaw office prior to Dec. 31, 2020 to request a screening to resolve it.
