Sunset offset and lighting

Sunset offset time is 30 minutes ahead of scheduled local sunset, and represents the minimum anticipated time that field lighting is scheduled to be turned on under normal circumstances. Field lighting (scheduled at time of booking) is turned on at sunset offset or 10 minutes prior to rental start, whichever comes later. Lights are extinguished no later than 15 minutes after the end of a program allowing safe lit passage back to parking areas.

Normal 

All scheduled programming to commence without delay. Field conditions satisfactory to excellent for play. 

Open - limited maintenance

Fields are available for rental but maintenance and program configuration may be limited to nonexistent (such as field lines discontinued, nets removed, infield inserts removed, infield grooming unavailable). Field preparation will be considered only where no other suitable venue is available. 

Poor field conditions

Although conditions may not be favourable, staff are confident that programming can continue with minimal impact. Although we anticipate playability, customers should expect sudden program cancellation should conditions get worse.

All cancelled 

Due to bad weather or other factors affecting field playability, all scheduled programming has been cancelled for the entire rental period. Fields will remain closed with no exceptions. 

Early cancelled 

With multi-game rentals, unplayable field conditions have forced the early games to be cancelled with no exception. Late time slots can proceed as scheduled.

Early cancelled, late pending 

With multi-game rentals, unplayable field conditions have forced the early games to be cancelled with no exception. Late time slots are still being considered for cancellation.

Late cancelled

With multi-game rentals, unplayable field conditions have forced later games to be cancelled with no exceptions. Early games can proceed as scheduled.

Expect delay

Customers can expect delay as staff transition between field closure and poor field conditions. There are no allowances for field use extension in the event of delay. Users are expected to adhere to their scheduled end time.

Temporary field closure

Fields are closed to programming for a limited time for a rest period, alternate programming, or intensive maintenance activities. Unauthorized use is prohibited on closed fields.

Seasonal closure

No programming is allowed on fields that have been closed for the season. Seasonal closures let staff perform intensive regenerative maintenance. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
